Following a great performance at the YHBBA Open Contest in Dewsbury,  the band were delighted to be placed first in the First Section and second overall.  Well done all!

Lindley Band is very pleased to welcome some new blood to their cornet section with the arrival of Huddersfield University students Adam Chappell and Gethin Wyn Jones. Gethin comes to Lindley from the Llanrug Silver Band in North Wales, where he was assistant principal. Adam’s previous band was Bradwell Silver and he has joined Lindley after performing with Bradwell in the Cheltenham finals. Both lads are looking forward to their contest debut with Lindley at Dewsbury Town hall .
