The Band has signed 3 fantastic new players to the ranks over
the Summer. Period.
Firstly, came Sam Thackrah on flugel horn. Sam has many years of experience with several
local bands, but following a stint on cornet with Crofton Silver is now
delighted to return to the instrument she loves with Lindley.
Chris Kaye has come to Lindley on solo baritone from Wakefield Metropolitan. Chris is looking forward to his first contest
with the band at Rochdale in October.
NYBBG member, Lily Morgan comes in on solo horn from Hebden Bridge. Lily is
currently studying at Huddersfield University under the tuition of Kirsty
Abbotts.
